Yes I think if you have your child watch tv shows that are entertaining yet informative that's good. Right now my sisters are 2 years old and they learn alot from Elmo and Little Einsteins (Disney Channel). They may not find these shows too entertaining since they're a little older but shows like Dora/Diego the Explorer, Higley Town Heros, Sesame Street, Blues Clues, The Mickey Mouse Club and Arthur. I'm not too sure what your kids are into but even things such as the history/discovery/health channel might be interesting sometimes a little too graphic so please pre-screen the show first. Make sure the rating it to the right age range your child is at.
