I believe that as long as we as parents are confindent with ourselves and our parenting are children will be able to do whatever it is we need them to. In my case, being a single mom i love the idea of my son in my bed, he was born premie so he was in my bed from the start, ever since he was about 6 months(mind you my son progressed faster then normal) he has not wanted to be in my bed. He loves his own bed so much he puts himself to sleep half the time!. But again in my opinion, you child will follow your lead and as long as you make sure their room is safe and monster free they will sleep just as sound as if mommy and daddy were next to them.

We make our child feel and believe what they do as children. We are the shapers of their futures. Believe in yourself and your parenting even when you feel like your doing it all wrong because you come across something you dont know how to handle, remember thats when you doing it the best!! because there is no hand book, nobody is prepared for what goes on with our children.
