Dexter show in YouTube

YouTube and cable entertainment Showtime channel are joining forces and bringing in shows like Dexter, Californication and others.

Showtime has a special channel in YouTube where you can watch their shows, interviews with actors, trailers and others.

Previously, entertainment giants used to post their shows in Hulu and now have realized that YouTube will boost their viewership significantly and adding them slowly. They should have done this much earlier, but better late than never.

YouTube made this announcement in their Twitter account here.

According to Mashable.com, these two new shows, Dexter and Californication will be available until October 12. For now they are available only for the U.S. audience and in YouTube only, they are not available in Hulu.com.

Both Dexter and Californication are for adults only and very entertaining shows.

It is not clear whether Showtime will air all the episodes for this season but it is a great start from the cable entertainment company.

Great news. I haven't watched any of them because I don't have Showtime. But, I used to have HBO and became addicted to True Blood. I then had to drop HBO because Comcast was going to up my bill dramatically because my year was up. Since I have been downloading the shows on the net a few night later. This would be great if it spreads.

Jim10, thanks, you should switch to DirecTV, they are good with consistent rates. I love to watch True Blood but I don't have HBO. Dexter is a great show to watch.

Nice to know that youtube is adding shows. Will they be in full length or just part of the shows?

BeatsMe, so far it is full shows, but I doubt they will release all the episodes. They make money from monthly paid subscriptions in the amount of $12. But if they want more audience then YouTube is the best way.

Thanks Compu-smart, I hope they also have plenty of BBC shows.
