I am in love with Vishal Bhardwaj's Maqbool, Makdee, Omkara movies, but I was shocked to know that Vishal Bhardwaj has made a film by the name of "The Blue Umbrella" it went unnoticed due to that fact that it is a kid's film taken from the famous novel by Ruskin Bond. Chatri Chor or umbrella thief is made at a very small budget but I think it is much more better and great movie than several other movies made in 2005 with big budgets in the bollywood cinema.

Vishal Bharadwaj has not only managed to tell a true story with utmost sincerity but has also managed to create genuine like characters with whom one would fall in love with.

Shreya Sharma is a great performer too and without any doubts in my mind, Pankaj Kapur is the real soul and heart of this great film and I an really surprised with this fact that he did not get a single nomination at any award functions that is really disappointing because this never makes any sense to me.

Talking about Hollywood or Bollywood cinema, I have hardly seen any filmmakers who have made good kids film, especially in India.

I think if we will not appreciate these great directors, then we can expect from them to make more great films like this in the future.

Vishal Bhardwaj had started his own carrier with a kid's film but when this film lost the race in the box office area, he did not lose all hope and has made one more which would have been a hit.

I, Rajinder Soni, salute Mr. Vishal Bhardwaj for creating "The blue Umbrella" as it is a great and awesome film according to me and I am live with this.

A must watch according to me.
