A Foreign, Universal Language

Coming to this site shows you have interest in learning Sign Language. The advantage of doing this is enormous, not only will it broaden your communication skill, it can as well open a career opportunity for you. Anyway, that is topic for another time. My aim here is to review the best course online that will accelerate your learning American Sign Language in a way you might not imagine.

Why American Sign Language? You might wonder. Why not other sign language, say British? The simple explanation is that although each sign language is more peculiar to its region, American Sign Language is the most adaptable of all sign types. It could easily be adapted to British, Chinese, Algerian, etc. A knowledge of ASL will afford you a quick grasp of any other sign language technique.

I found a reputable online source that will help anybody to master this art called Sign Language. This gem is of Rocket Sign Language. I have no doubt that you will find it most helpful.

The company is no stranger to teaching languages as it has done same for traditional languages like Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian and German. The success people had through Rocket Language (the company behind this) has stood them shoulder above others in online language education. But talking of Sign Language is a little different I must say. So I wasn´t quite sure if they could handle it.

My concern was unjustly as you would see.

If you love playing games, you will be excited by this. If on the other hands you are not a games man or woman but love having fun while learning, you will be amazed. Let me explain myself. They have made Sign Language learning a fun game:

The first thing in this package is the Mega Spelling Game. This game goes over everything about finger signing at your own pace and it is very well put together. It also goes over many specialized words not covered by sign.

Then comes their Mega Sign Word Building Game to help in putting together those complex signs. Just as a game, it turns learning into fun, which makes assimilation fast and easy.

There is also their software dictionary for easy reference to over 1200 of the most common signs. You have never seen anything this complete anywhere.

Then of course there is their learning guide that goes over spelling, grammar, punctuation and everything else to do with putting together meaningful signs. There are 10 chapters in this guide and they are quite comprehensive.

As if that was not enough, they as well provide members forum where you are not restricted to how many questions you may ask. Answers are provided promptly, most often in less than one hour. The forum is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is an unsurpassed customer service.

The Rocket guys have done it again by market cornering even Sign Language.

At the very least, go to their site and check out what they have to offer.
