All signs point to a beautiful successful October for our HubPages Hubbers and we'd like to share that with our new and current readers as well as older and newer writers on our pages. This Hub offers a list of 10 new writers, our weekly HubNugget Wannabes, that have written high quality Hubs in the past week. How does one become a HubNugget?
Eligibility includes joining hubpages within the last 60 days (2 months), earnuing a Hub Author score of 75+ (the score by your avatar), an dpublishing a Nugget-worthy Hub within the last 7 days with at least a 55+ Hub Score. Simple and fun!
Even Newbies can be Nuggets and that's what it's all about - encouraging people to write and interact.
Anyone can vote for their favorite HubNugget Wannabe Hubs at the bottom of this page, but If you have not joined us yet, maybe you'd like to, so join now. All FREE...and you can earn some cash as well.
Nugget Mechanics 101, Signpost to Sucess: Create a Hub with well written, original content and some relevant photos or video (make sure you follow copyright rules). Move Hub capsules around to make an eye-pleasing preseantation, and proofread and review. Hit the "publish" button and enjoy your work as others do as well. Your Hub may be choosen from the list of 2500 or so Hubs submitted weekly.

I wish that I could properly tell you all what Hubpages is doing for me. The fact that folks have decided to single out one of my small Hubs as being "OK" does the telling for me. It is kind of like you are winning at a game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey (with me being the donkey) except that I don't have to say "ouch." I really do wish that Marjorie Rawlings who first related that "Saboteur" tale were still alive so that she could know how far her experiences have traveled. Hubbers, there are truly some fantastic stories to be told. So, get busy. And - if you are already busy, stay that way. :-)

I'm not sure I understand how this works. I get the impression people can nominate themselves, is that correct? (I personally am like a lot of artists according to an old prof of mine.) I can't always tell what is "good" and what is not when it comes to my own material. Judging from some of the scores I am seeing OTHERS can't always tell either. Feel free to read my stuff and let me know if there is anything y'all like.

How do you know if you are voting in the right week? I know that this may be a stupid question, but since I just found out about hubnuggets I've noticed several pages with 10 hubs to be voted on, but some of these have expired. How do you tell with out actually trying to vote?
The current HubNuggets Hub for Voting is always listed in the Forums as a "sticky" at the top of "Hubbers Hangout."
