There are many signs BUT they are NOT what most people tell you because most people do not know what depression really is.

This site here has the most medically accurate understanding of depression and CURE that I have ever seen. Signs of Depression

Let me explain. People think that depression is an emotion. It is NOT. Depression is a brain state that CREATES other emotions.

This is why it is so easy for drug companies to sell drugs. You see they can convince anyone that they are depressed even when they are not.

You brain needs SMALL amounts of depression and it is NOT painful. Depression ONLY becomes painful if you get stuck in it for a long enough time for it to activate negative emotions.

This is why anti-depressants do not work for a lot of people. They are sad but not depressed.

Your brain drops into the depressed state in order to repair itself. It is kind of like turning off your car before you work on the motor.

The problems is that your brain is designed to be active so when you get stuck in depression for a long time. Just like if you stay in bed too long you will get bed sores or if you are stuck on the toilet too long your legs will go to sleep.

What is the only REAL sign of depression. It is basically slowing down. Being tired or not wanting to think. All the painful "signs of depression" like anxiety, frustration, sadness are emotions that your brain starts to give you to tell you that it is time to pop out of depression because you brain knows that is can not stay in that state for long and have you survive.

Recognizing depression is actually REALLY easy once you know what to look for. Basically it is like feeling tired of thinking. That is it. And remember your brain NEEDS to be depressed for SHORT periods of time otherwise you become bipolar.

The only trick is being able to tell your brain to pop out of depression and start turning on the endorphins and excitement chemicals again.

It is really easy to do and only takes a minute. You only need to be depressed for a few minutes at a time.

After a LOT of searching all over the web I found this site and it literally saved my life. I have not been depressed in years! And the other benefits I have had from controlling my own brain have ben great. :-)
