Probably the most common problem in any marriage is the suspicion of cheating, usually the male counterpart being the guilty one. Don't get me wrong. I'd be lying if I said women don't cheat, but based on the research I've done, it just happens to be this way.

Of course, the last thing you would want to do is to rely on your gut feelings or instincts and accuse him without any solid proof. Your woman's spidey sense may be tingling and you may think that is enough evidence. As much as you want to, please refrain yourself from confronting him immediately. As the title says, look for the signs he is cheating first. Only then can you be sure that your confrontation is flawless.

We all want to know what the reasons are for adultery. Let's skip that for another time. So, what are the possible signs he is cheating?

I have grouped the signs he is cheating into 3 categories, mainly, Physical, Emotional and Financial. Physical signs are the most obvious signs, simply because you can actually see it happening. These include changes in personal grooming and behavior. He makes a lot of effort in looking good, wearing nice clothes when going out to meet his friends. Their work schedule also changes even though it's the same job. He comes back from work late, even to the extent on working weekends. When he does come home, he smells different.

When I say physical signs, sexual intimacy is included. There are 2 ways to detect signs he is cheating when doing sexual intercourse.

1) He wants to have sex more often than usual and becomes more adventurous when having sex, showing off new moves. This can mean that he is learning it from somewhere else. Or

2) He is no longer interested to have sex with you altogether. Again, due to getting it elsewhere.

Emotional signs present themselves during interaction. When having discussions, he gets angry at the slightest of things. Unless he is hot-tempered, this is definitely a sure sign he is cheating on you. He no longer shares with you stuff like how was his day at work, what he had for lunch etc. Even the way he talks seems different. You might feel is as though he is a stranger.

Last but not least, the financial part of the signs that he might be cheating. In most cases, the husband will shower his wife with gifts in the initial part of the affair. Why you ask? This is to lessen their guilt when cheating on you. Over time, the gifts will stop and he may even go to the extent of finding fault in you because he needs to assure himself that when cheating on you, he is actually doing the right thing! He also no longer shares the credit card and phone bills. If that happens, you better start snooping around.

Tracking numbers is becoming a common method to ‘spy' on your husband.
