Signs of Aging and Ways to Delay It

Aging is one thing that most people fear, people are scared of the physical discomfort and changes that comes with aging like wrinkles, gray hair, joint pains, etc. So we do everything to delay the process.
Here are the 10 signs of aging according to Bill Steig, writer for Men's Health Magazine.
1st Sign
You enter a room and you're clueless as to why. Going blank is, in part, a memory retrieval" problem that comes with growing older. You gradually lose brain neurons as you age, say Gil Einstein, Ph. D., Chair of Psychology Department at Furman University.
How to Delay it.
Use your non-dominant hand for routine things like brushing your teeth, answering the phone and eating. This stimulates your brain into activating new neural pathways and that means a more nimble mind, says Lawrence C. Katz Ph.D., a Duke University neurobiologist.
Keep list; it helps with processing information and remember that memory is associative, so if you retrace your steps, there's good chance you'll recall why you walked into the bedroom.
2nd Sign
You creek in the morning. Cartilage in your joints is wearing thin, and stiffness sets in when you sleep, says Dave Pearson, Ph.D., an exercise Physiologist at Ball State University. "The older the hinge is, the better the chances it's going to creak."
How to Delay It.
Spike your morning coffee with a scoop of Nutra Joint plus Glucosamine, or any similar gelatine-based supplement you can find at health store. Study shows that it relieves pain and may help repair cartilage; it contains nutrients your body turns into cartilage lubricant. Pearson says, "We spend all this time feeding our muscles, but its really the joints that we should take care as we grow old.
3rd Sign
You can drink beer as much and as fast as you used to. It has nothing to do with age; you're just out of practice, says James Langenbucher, Ph.D., clinical psychologist at the Center for alcohol studies at Rutgers University.
Most men steadily drink less after they leave their 20's "There's bound to be a decrease in acute alcohol tolerance. You're not living the wild life as much as you used to," says, Langenbucher.
How to Delay It
Anticipating a big night out? Eat something first like soup or even a drive thru at your favorite fastfood chain. The fat from the food you ate will work as a lining in your stomach and it will absorb the alcohol.
