Simple tattoo designs would be a good choice for a first tattoo. Main reason being that a simple one should'nt take too long to do meaning that you won't have to stand the pain for too long. Not that getting tattooed is painful, I mean it can be if inked on an area where there is not much flesh like on the ankle or knee e.t.c But the great thing with simple tattoos is that they can be more visually appealing just like a company logo is and they can work with the area of body better. For example, lower back tattoos have really took off in the past few years especially the tribal ones. Well these are considered simple tattoos and I'm sure everyone can agree they are visually appealing.
