If stress is draining you and burning you out, take some advice from those who have left their stress behind - simplify your life.

I can say today I am an expert of making my life less stressed: during the last 15 years I changed 4 countries and 6 homes and consequently reasonably simplified my life.

I love my balanced life today but it took some time, knowledge and conscious choice to destress and declutter my out of balance life and myself heading into burnout state.

A simple life has a different meaning and a different value for every person.

For me it means be in control of my life, honor my values and live my priorities, do what I love and what I consider important.

Simplify does not mean eradicate. To simplify is to make less complex not to cut things out. Reducing and integrating can lead to simplification as well.

First, answer the question, please.

What Simplify Your Life means to you?

  • Destress your life, increase energy, declutter from your life so you can spend time with people you love and do the things you love?
  • Get rid of the clutter so you what are left gives you value?
  • Mean to mange stress and increase your productivity?
  • Stop letting little things keep you from living the life of your dreams?
  • Your goals becoming your accomplishments?

Now it is your turn to create your list.(Please share your list and leave a comment )

However, getting to simplicity isn’t always a simple process.

Ways to Simplify Your Life

You can find following steps useful:

  1. Identify what’s most meaningful to you.
  2. Eliminate the rest.

If your projects, clients, social opportunities have been eluding you, give them up.

Avoid overexposure to negative or toxic people, nurture the relationships that support you and help you to stay positive.

Don’t let anything drain you. Tolerate nothing. You are your most precious asset and you have to put yourself on the top of the list. Nobody, believe me, nobody else will ever do this.

Pursue those areas where there is more likehood of a positive return on the energy and time you invest.

Know yourself, know your limits, otherwise you will finish in burnout even without noticing it.

When you simplify your life and become stress free zone you will attract all you need in your life – relations, prosperity, health you name it.

If you start now to simplify your life considerably, you will be creating the space to respond well to all new staff. Without a lot of space, you might find yourself feeling overwhelmed, your life full of distress and out of balance.

Do you ever wonder how successful people always seem to get so much done, but also have time to do the things they love?

A very good question...What does simplify my life mean to me?

1)  Identify and remove my self created road blocks/excuse system.

2)  Recognize that the only barriers that exist are the ones I believe in and stop believing in barriers to allow unlimited to flow.

3)  Most importantly to always appreciate what I do have and what is good, thereby receiving more of what I do want.

Thanks for the question and giving me a moment to ponder......Although I already feel relaxed that  I am already simpified, low stress, and highly productive in the areas i prefer to be and just looking to improve upon it each moment in time.

Likewise I appreciated your hub in that I am always looking for positive outlooks to share and experience.  Thank you, and continue to let your light shine!

Great tips! I'm trying to decluter now. We moved and I decided to take that opportunity to get rid of some things. It feels great though I have a long way to go.
