SinglesNet.com is an easy-to-use internet dating site. Once you register for SinglesNet.com, you will receive several messages in your inbox of potential matches. SinglesNet.com receives a lot of traffic. There is a higher number of men on this web site, with an average age of 35. SinglesNet.com offers a 3-day free trial. This trial period enables members to send free emails to any paid member and you can read emails from any member. The short trial period allows members to enjoy all the access to the dating site as paid members, this is why it is so short. SingleNet.com is one of the most popular online dating sites because of its compatibility matching system. Once you sign up for SinglesNet.com, you can receive information about numerous potential matches. Having multiple matches allows you to search through numerous profiles to find someone you are truly compatible with.

For a one-month membership to SinglesNet.com, it will cost $24.95. If you would like to sign up for a longer membership, the monthly rate will decrease. The total cost for a 3 month membership is $59.85 and $89.95 for a one year membership. It only takes a few minutes to establish your profile with SinglesNet.com. The initial set-up question will ask information regarding your religion, ethnicity, outdoor activities, exercise, sporting event preference, and numerous other qualities. Once you have input all your information, you will be given information about potential matches. If you have a free membership, you will have a limit as to how many members you can contact. Paid members are allowed to initiate contact with anyone, including free members. You have the ability to initiate conversations, send winks, and email others. SinglesNet.com also includes search rankings that you can use as a paying member. SinglesNet.com does not have a guided communication system, instead they allow you to "break the ice" with other singles you are interested in.

SinglesNet.com uses a database system to search for potential matches in your zip code or particular region. You also have the ability to perform advanced searches using keywords. SinglesNet.com does not sell information to third-parties. All the information on SinglesNet.com is protected with a secured server, but it is really up to each individual about they information they want to provide. Each user is responsible for their privacy and they can disclose whatever they want to be read by other singles. You must be at least 18 years old to join SinglesNet.com. Unlike other dating sites, SinglesNet.com does not discriminate against any race or sexual preference. The most recent statistics revealed that SinglesNet.com is home to 13 million members. The ratio of males to females is 55% male and 45% female. Your profile page will include 2 sections, one for emails and the other for individuals showing interest in you. Your inbox will have a chronological list of flirts, emails of members who viewed your profile, and the best matches for you determined by the SinglesNet.com database.

If you run into a problem when using SinglesNet.com, you can contact them via telephone or email. SinglesNet.com also provides a drop-down menu that covers various frequently asked questions. The largest complaint of SinglesNet.com is that it doesn't match you with people you are truly compatible with. Since there isn't a background check on SinglesNet.com, the potential to have SPAM messages increases with the number of members. Like the other dating sites, SinglesNet.com urges members to use their best judgment when talking to other members.

The main differences between a paid membership and a free account are as follows:

  • A free membership allows members to perform general searches.
  • A free membership allows you to upload videos and photos.
  • A free membership allows you to view other member's profiles and show interest.
  • A paid membership allows you to add people to your hotlist.
  • A paid membership allows you to view all members' profiles and pictures.
  • A paid membership allows you to contact other members via email, instant messenger, and video chat.
  • Paid members can perform advanced searches.
  • Paid members can upload multiple pictures and videos.

The search function on SinglesNet.com is detailed and allows you to search by anything you want including: marital status, height, weight, smoking, drinking, and ethnicity. What really sets SinglesNet.com apart from the other dating sites is the ability to join in minutes and start searching in minutes. It is helpful to upload at least one picture because profiles with pictures generate 7 times the amount of interest compared to profiles without pictures.

SinglesNet.com provides great tips on how you can make the most of your membership. They have a section that will help you create a good profile by telling you what type of information you should and should not reveal. They also have advice on how to create a great profile picture and what most people look for with a profile picture. There is a member's area that is designed to help people make the initial contact with another member. They don't have a guided system, but it is a system that simply provides advice. The member's area also has advice on how you can keep the conversation from going stale and what type of questions you should ask if you really want to get to know the other person better.

One of the benefits to SinglesNet.com is their large dating pool. Having a large dating pool will allow you to have more to choose from, more potential dates, and a greater chance at meeting someone you are truly compatible with. While a large dating pool is a wonderful feature, it also harms some individuals. Never give another member any money if they ask for it, and you should do a check on that person to make sure they are legitimate. If you can't afford a complete background check, at least verify that their address and phone number check out. Here are the pros and cons of SinglesNet.com:

Pros:

  • Free membership that actually gives you access to other singles and allows you to contact them.
  • Advanced searching options for paid members and local search options for free memberships.
  • Secured email notifications and contact with other members.

  • Large database of members to choose from.
  • The ability to block list any members you wish to ignore.
  • Complete privacy protection.

Cons:

  • Large database making the potential for scammers higher.
  • Doesn't provide an in-depth compatibility matching system like eHarmony and Match.com.
  • Potential matches can be in a different country or live far away.

SinglesNet.com has several advertisements around the world, trying to get singles to join the site. Before you join, you should always read review of the site from other members. So what do actual members of SinglesNet.com think? Here are a couple reviews of the online dating site:

"Poorly done. Easy to set up fake profiles. Positive: Quick to navigate between profiles and messages. Pics pop up in a separate window so you don't have to wait for the screen to refresh. Have had some luck after panning through hundreds of profiles. Negative: Worst part. estimate 90% of the good looking profiles are fake. Maybe more. Either solicitation for a web cam site sign up or send me money to Ghana type scams. You'll find out when they try to get you onto private email accounts. Site design is VERY poor. Simple fixes would go a long way. Need scroll bars in some places. Jumps back to search results 1-15 often (you may have gone forward to results 415-430 before that happened! but not likely you got that far) Can't filter on anything in search except location. Seems to default to +-15 yrs. of age. Seems like site was put up just to make money and don't care about updates and functionality. Seen it advertised as a singles meeting place on MySpace and a looking for sex place somewhere else! Can go on for ever." - Male, New Jersey.

"Singlesnet does a wonderful job allowing contact between members and non members. If one person has a membership and they wish to connect with someone who does not, it is allowed and contact ensues. I find this far better than the other sites that force you to buy a membership if someone "flirts" with you or emails you on site. I feel rather rude on the other sites not wishing to get a paying membership to just respond with another person who is a paying member. I also love that you have the security of emailing on site as well. It gives you the confidence to progress at a comfortable, non intimidating rate." - Female, North Carolina.

I have been on the site. I have met a lot of women from the site. they were ALL real. NONE were cam whores or from Ghana. Mind you, I let women contact ME beyond a simple flirt or a free first e-mail. I let the women who are members contact me first.

The following statements from the quoted reviews are not true in MY case or people I know who areon/have been on this site:

"Worst part. estimate 90% of the good looking profiles are fake. Maybe more."

First the reviewer doesn't even know how to write complete sentences. That worries me.

I'm also curious as to how he came up with the figure of 90%. I would also like to know how he defines 'good-looking".

"Either solicitation for a web cam site sign up or send me money to Ghana type scams. You'll find out when they try to get you onto private email accounts."

Again, I have not seen this nor do I know many women who have seen a lot of this on their end of the site.

I just thought I'd give you some input from a guy who has used the site/knows women who have used the site.

My name is Phoenix and . . . that's the bottom line.
