Set up an email address with Google

What is site map Google? It is a google web page, which will help you to keep track of your website in a more detailed analysis, as you can enter your web site URL, and either place a HTML, or input a code into the title of your web page for a more accurate account of the goings on. This information will then allow the google bot to crawl your page, and deliver you with more detailed information on links, search engine submission, and help in obtaining a page rank, which will help in ranking you higher in the google search engine results pages. You can also add up to 1000 sites at a time, including news, and mobile sites, which will hopefully help you to make a little more money from your website. The site map at google will ask you to prove that the site belongs to you, so will ask you to verify this to them, and give you a few options in doing so.

Help with starting google site map

To start the google site map, you will need to sign in to your google email account. If you do not have one of these, this process is easy and can be done here. You can also obtain a free GMail account, but you need to set up an e mail address with google first and foremost. You will then be asked to type in the URL of your site, and then click continue where upon the verification page will open. If you wish to, you may choose a name for this site as an option. You will then be asked to choose two verification methods.

Meta tags: This is the easiest way to sign up, and google will allow you to easily verify your website.

HTML file: You will be asked to download a file, and enter this with a specific name to a specific directory on your web browser.

Good luck in registering with the google site map, as I think this is a great way to keep track of your website, and give you a head start in trying to get the best search engine traffic so you can begin to make a little more money online from google.

Very good, I must try to implement this. I am computer illiterate, so I'm sure it will take awhile.

Didn't succeed on my WordPress or HubPages sites - Google verification codes failed!

Blogger succeeded!

Thanks anyway - if you have any tips on how to verify HubPages and WordPress with Google I would appreciate them

Love and peace

i think you will find sites like Hubpages will not allow it but your own websites and Blogger will. No where to place the HTML code.
