Building Websites With Site Rubix

Will Site Rubix Really Level The Playing Field?
What is Site Rubix? Well, if you have been paying atention to the latest gadgets and innovations in the world of on line website production, then you already know that Site Rubix is the latest invention of Kyle and Carson, the two marketers who own the Wealthy Affiliate Internet Marketing University, and is reputed to be the "be all, end all" of website building software.
Now, according to the pre-sales literature, even complete novices with no training in HTML or FTP will be able to build and launch a professional looking website in a matter of minutes all from within Site Rubix itself. What this means is that there will no longer be a need to purchase anything outside of web hosting and a domain name to create a presence on the world wide web.
As a long time user of Macromedia's Dreamweaver, I can tell you that the learning curve was a steep one. To build anything worth having, you are required to have at least a little web programming skill and some aptitude for site design but, Kyle and Carson claim that Site Rubix uses a complete "drag-and-drop" interface which does away with all the technical aspects of building a website at a fraction of the cost of the most popular software.
Update: 10/18/07 -
OK, now that I have had a chance to invest a bit of time into using Site Rubix to build a few websites, several conclusions can be drawn:
Is Site Rubix for everyone? Well, yes and no. It is certainly simple enough for even the most inexperienced, first-time site builder to put up a fantastic looking website in under a couple of hours and it does have a built in FTP client to quickly upload your site to a server but, I believe most professional site builders will still be better off with the more robust programs.
Where Site Rubix really shines is in its ability to quickly and efficiently build websites for affiliate marketing purposes. Now, even the most inexperienced marketer can have their own site up and making money in a single day without having to outsource and wait for delivery of their site from a pro. This will not only save time, but a lot of money.
Still, there are a few tricks and quirks that the first-time user needs to be aware of to give his/her site that "finished" look and I am in the process of building a site that will explain the process more thoroughly. This should take a couple of days, so be sure to check back regularly for the link.
