Skiing in the Middle of the Desert
Europe is the beautiful and the famous place for skiing. Because there are four season over there. Like in United States or another country which have four season. But can you imagine skiing in the middle on the desert. We all know the temperature in the desert, in the hottest day the temperature in the dessert up to 56 Celsius. Now. we can enjoy and skiing in Dubai. This is an Emirate (a city) in the United Arab Emirates. We can find the biggest indoor ski places over the world.
This place was build on December 2005. There are six thousand tons snow in this building. Every night this building produce up to three thousand snow. The cost to create this technology using billion dollar. The temperature keep on 0 Celsius degree. Except when the new snow produce, the temperature is derived until 7 Celsius degree. But,I want you to know the temperature outside is 50 Celsius degree.
This place can be used start from beginner until professional. Located in the Mall of Emirates with 22,500 m2 wide. The Mall of Emirates is the biggest Mall in Dubai. Don't worry about the equipment for skiing. Because just bring $80 for ticket. We can use all the facilities over there. And we can visit the restaurant like in the outdoor ski. And to complete like the atmosphere of ski resort they also provide a hanging train to carrying the visitor who want skiing from the top.
We know that we can't replace the natural skiing place like in the mountain. But it can be new adventures for us who traveling around the Middle East.
