Skin tags can be treated with freezing, laser therapy or with cauterizing. However, due to the elevated price of these procedures, many people prefer to use alternative remedies.

One of the many home remedies that can be used for the removal of skin tags is Apple cider vinegar.

If you want to remove a skin tag using apple cider vinegar, you just have to soak a Cotton ball in ACV (apple cider vinegar) and then rub it on the skin tag.

You have to repeat this procedure three times each day for two or three weeks until the skin tag falls off.

Let me warn you though that you should never use apple cider vinegar on skin tags that are located on the eyelids.

Apple cider vinegar is not the only home treatment for skin tags. In fact, skin tags can be treated using many other herbal extracts like tea tree oil or castor oil.

They can also be removed with other method. Like the method that consists on tying a thin string around the base of the skin tag to cut off the blood supply to its tissues or the method that consists on cutting off the skin tags using scissors or nail clippers.
