Sleeping In The White House

A Dream By A Dreamer

One night in the White House President Obama was in a deep sleep and dreaming. After all, he has been described as a dreamer. Our President smiled as he slept dreaming of Nancy Pelosi banging her gavel saying; Motion passed!" Being capable of multiple dreams (what a man) he dreamed about everything he wanted being passed and The Speaker of the House banging her gavel and saying passed ever time.

The President smiled wider with every dream, why shouldn't he? He could see Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Harry Reid laughing in a corner. Senator Barbara Boxer was telling a group of African-American Congressmen that she once had a Black (that's what we called you people when I was younger) friend, for a WHOLE summer.   Frank and Reid were joking about the Democratic control of everything. Other Democrats listened in and joined in the laughter. Transparency,  and they (the voters) believed it! The Republicans even thought Obama was going to be bipartisan, the laughter grew louder. Republicans aren't even allowed in important meetings. One Congressman joked, isn't this "Lets Make A Deal" with Monty Hall? That's a good one. What's a Republican anyway? The President sighed as his dreaming continued.   He heard a voice from above (in his dream) saying; CHANGE IS COMING! His smile grew even wider, as the dream went on. He saw Mrs. Pelosi crying as she banged her gavel once again. Motion.....f....f.... failed. Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats rose to a standing position screaming. President Obama woke up saying; no,no,no, it can't be, I'm Barack Obama!   The President jumped out of bed, dressed and left his private section of The White House. He was met immediately by his advisors. "You don't look well Mr. President," a cabinet member chimed. "I had a bad dream but I'm sure  nothing like that could happen." An aid handed the President today's newspaper that showed his approval rating going down.   "This is nothing any of us believe, the poll must have been taken by FOX news." "Excuse me Mr. President, the poll was taken by the New York Times," stated an aid. "Another article says the Stimulus Package is failing," said a Czar. "How can it be failing, know one even knows what the hell it is supposed to do." "That seems to be the problem now sir, the people are beginning to understand what was in the bill," offered a staff member. "Oh man, that's why we have to get the health-care bill passed now, we cannot allow anyone to understand the bill until well after it is passed."   A cabinet member remarks; "I have no idea how many trillions of dollars we will need accomplish anything we want." The President laughs and says; "Get the printing presses going, ha." An aid jumps in with; "What really is our goal, sir?"   The President straightens up, takes a deep breath and says; "What ever I want it to be, but I must make the people dependant on the government first." The President points to his secretary. "Take a note to me. When do I propose NO TERM LIMITS FOR THE PRESIDENT, I know my people love me!

I thank all of you for your comments. You all prove that opposition is growing. Funny there are no opposing comments, but after tonights press conference I guess..........

I have a friend in Texas that is hoping to run for the Senate in 2012, he has already spoken with Michael Steele. If you know any Texans that feel like you do, write me for his name.
