Children Sleepwalking Problems?

Firstly lets define sleepwalking.

Sleep walking is a disorder that children usually partially wake up in the middle of the night. The children may walk, run, talk or even hit someone while sleepwalking.

Ways to identify sleepwalking

If your child is sleepwalking, he/she would look awake but will walk around the room without any direction, may repeat movements such as tapping their heads or look dazed or dumb and be unresponsive.

What to do?

Well for starters, you could ensure your child's sleeping area has no dangerous objects such as nails, knives or irons. You should also lock up the door and close the windows around your child's sleeping area to prevent any mishaps from happening.

How to overcome

Visit a doctor? The doctor will probably subscribe some medicine to help your child.

Is there a problem with my child?

Nope, do not worry as sleepwalking is a common disorder for children. Don't have to be paranoid about your child murdering anyone in their sleep either. Not likely. Your child also will not suffer any brain damage from sleepwalking, but if your child actually bumps his/her head while sleepwalking.... well yea there is a possibility.
