the peel p50 was created in the 1960's. and is so small that it can fit into an elevator.

the world's smallest car went for a display at the Ripley's believe it or not museum, which promises visitors the ultimate in sight in to the world of the odd. and bizarre , on Wednesday

the micro car boosts the record for the smallest ever the automobile to go into production and while it may not look quite up to 21 century safety standards, the light weight three wheel is legally allowed to be driven on british streets.

it was originally in 1963,and 1964 by peel engg company, with a production run of about 50 vehicles that sold for just under199 Latins.that was clearly a bargain ,given the remaining 20 originals command , any where from 35,000 to 50,000 Latins

the three wheeled wonder was designed as a city car. it was adeverstiesd as capable to seat one adult and a shooping bag.

it has a single door , a single wind screen whipper and just one head light,

 


The Peel Facts:

134 cm  long and 99  cm wide. it weighted just 59 kg.

it had a 49 cc, 2 stroke zweirad union moped engine.

the gear box provided  three forward speeds with reverse travel being accomplished by lifting the car with the  chromed handle provided  at the rear.

top speed of the was approximately 61 kms per hour

standard colors were Dayton white ,dragon red and caprl blue.
