Snowboard Bindings

Snowboarding has been a very famous sport and still pretty stable in the popularity list among people and especially those who live in the snowy areas. The game was basically invented from the ski but it has basic difference that unlike skiing which is played on two foot blades, the snowboarding has used only a single but relatively wider version of it. The position of the snowboarder is also sideways instead of facing in front.
The board used has different types of mechanisms that are used to tie the feet of the snowboarder so that the board does not fly away during a maneuver or stunt that a person may perform. These mechanisms are known as snowboard bindings.
- Snowboard Bindings
The stiff snowboard bindings and boots give much more control over the board and allow the board to be carved much more easily than with softer bindings.

- Atomic Bindings
The new star of the Atomic bindings definitely seems to be the Black Russian line. Back from Atomic's USSR Siberian R&D facility where this particular line of binding went on the wagon and toned up with a complete overhaul.
Different bindings can have different overall effects. A strap-in method uses a thick sole boot which is flexible and the bindings use a strap to tie the feet to the board. The straps are usually padded to relieve some of the pressure from the strap method used. A newer method used is step-in method that is relatively simple and less painful overall for the user and can make the game more enjoyable and less hurting.
Both have a basic design difference and also some different features. A hard sole boot can transfer all the energy to the board which can better maneuver the board but a soft boot can absorb part of the energy which can make the response time of the board slower than a hard sole and thus resulting in less control.
