So you want to become an Internet Marketer, great me too. Well there are several ways to go about becoming rich and/or famous online.

First thing though you have to be willing to write, and write a lot. Not only do you need to write the silly thing you’re talking about once, you’ve got to be willing to re-write it a dozen times in a dozen different ways if you want to become a successful marketer.

Before you do the first thing you have to decide in what way you want to become a rich internet guru. There are any number of ways to scam…I mean to make money online.

You can write for and put ad sense on your blog or website and hope for clicks, this is my preferred method because it is easy and doesn’t take that much effort. All you have to do is spend all your time hunting for backlinks so that you can rank in the search results. Simple huh?  Try a little Organic Search Optimization to help your blog.

Maybe you’d like to become a famous online personality aka a Social Internet Marketer and sell junk to the people who trust you to lead them. I like this one too but I’m a little anti-social and not a great salesperson. I leave this one to the more polished people out there.

Writing an e-book is always an option, and then all you have to do is find some minions to sell it for you. This leads you into the e-mail marketing stuff, which I personally find as annoying as anything and will not even discuss.

As far as I’ve been able to tell those are all of your options. There might be a few more that I’ve never learned about because I didn’t click an ad or a link.

The only thing I’ve listed that I have experience with is the ad sense method, so that is what I will be discussing.

First… did I say that twice? Oh well I’ve never been good at math. You have to pick a niche, well maybe before you pick a niche you should learn what a niche is, it’s internet marketing lingo. Look it up I’m not a dictionary.

Ok once you have decided what your niche is you pick a few keywords, create a blog, write some posts and then you’re rolling in dough right? No. I’m afraid that is not exactly how it works. First you need to get people to read what you write.

Ok, HOW do you get people to read what you write? Oh I could just go on and on about that, but I won’t. See there? I’m teasing you, aren’t I the silly one.

To get people to read what you write you need to get listed in the search engine results, or make a bunch of online buddies who will visit your site. Easy. If you want to get listed in the search engines you need to spend most of your time getting backlinks.
