His was born in Rosario, Argentina he started playing soccer at a very early age in Newell's Old Boys his favorite Soccer Club. From the age of 11, he suffered from a hormone deficiency and as Lionel's parents decided to move to Barcelona, Spain.
When he was still only 16, Messi made his first team debut in a friendly with Porto and he didn’t stop since that day.
