Delete something? Want it back? It may not be lost.

I think we've all had this moment.  It's either a "slip-click" where you accidentally click on the wrong item to delete or you just simply have a brain cramp and delete that priceless family portrait off your hard drive. You may not even realize it. You didn't mean to permanently delete it but you've done it.

You feveroushly go to your recycle bin to see if you can recover your item but alas - it's gone. End of the world, right - I mean seriously, time to panic. Well, maybe not.

The folks at Paretologic have created a new software program that specifically scans your files to look for deleted items.  Now, this isn't an ordinary scan. It really goes to the depths of your computers chips and comes up with things you may not have known were either a) still on your computer or b) that you actually deleted something important.

A quick scan of my computer found many old emails and notes I needed for a dispute at work. I thought I had lost them forever. This software actually dug them out of a digital abyss and displayed them on my screen and askes me: which items do you want to recover?

This is pretty genius stuff. Man was I happy.  I quickly replied yes to the prompt on my screen and the software went to work. It not only found the emails but actually brought them back to life. I have no idea how it did it, but I don't really care.  It works and that's all that matters to me.

If you need to restore any kind of item whether it's a file, program or even emails, I would recommend giving it a shot. At least try one of their free scans to see if you can find the file your looking for.

I keep a copy of this software on my desktop just in case. You never know when your going to have to recover items that seemingly dissapear.  This is especially the case if you have an abundance of files.

If you're interested in giving this thing a try I suggest going to the attached link and seeing what it's all about.  Very interesting software...didn't even know something like this existed. I'm really glad it does though.
