The incentive that has driven Solar Energy is Tax Credits given to homeowners who install Solar Energy. Solar Energy is not only fueling our energy independence but providing new jobs in this growing industry.
A new energy bill was passed on December 19th of 2007. Under threat of Presidential veto, the drive to extend the Tax Title (Tax Credits) was dropped from the energy bill. The tax credits are vital to this nations drive toward energy independence. The issue of Tax Credits will be taken up again this year. For those who support Solar Energy it is vital to let the Senators who voted against the tax credits, know that they need to be extended. If one of thge folowing Senators is from your state, let them know you support solar energy and the solar tax credits:
