A new energy bill was passed on December 19th of 2007. Under threat of Presidential veto, the drive to extend the Tax Title (Tax Credits) was dropped from the energy bill. The tax credits are vital to this nations drive toward energy independence. The issue of Tax Credits will be taken up again this year.
