Solar panels with triangular frames
65
American society Armageddon Energy has developed a prototype solar
panels, hexagonal affordable, accessible and equipped with a triangular
frame intended to facilitate installation.
Called "Clover", a single unit "prefabricated" includes a module of three solar panels, hexagonal with a micro-converter. One module generates about 400 W of electrical power.
Solar panels are also lighter than traditional silicon panels because of the use of a Teflon coating instead of traditional glass. It takes a weight of 4 to 5 kg for the first against 18 kg for the second.
However, such a panel should also take less time than their counterparts in glass.
Concerning the price of "Clover", it turns around U.S. $ 6000 (about EUR 4 500) module, where the company has reached a year of serial production
