Ask Susan Peters Solid Gold Dog Food Review:

Solid Gold Dog Food Solid Gold WolfCub Puppy (Bison)has an over use of rice. I don't like to see the use of "natural flavors". Where do these natural flavors come from? Flavors of what?? Solid Gold WolfCub Puppy rated pretty well even though I don't care for the use of natural flavors and rice.

We started the black Labrador Retriever on Artemis puppy. Really wanted to use it based on the ingredients and reputation. However, the chicken & turkey combination didn't work out for him. After much research online and offline we decided to try Solid Gold large breed puppy formula, Wolfcub. No problems! We then made a transfer over to the Solid Gold adult, Wolf King. Excellent results with coat, breath, teeth. His diet contains very little people food, only what is healthier, no junk food.

Thank you for this article, keep up the great writing.

Susan, Diamond Pet Foods manufacture Solid Gold Dry Food. Diamond Pet Foods had a major recall in 2007. Are these Diamond Pet Food one in the same?

after trying many food- this is the only one my boxer puppy could eat without having diarrhea. So thumbs up in my book. I am thinking the "over use" of rice is what is keeping his stomach on track in this case. Plus he loves eating it- lol
