Being parents is an overwhelming job, and when your kid is feeling low and is sick or hurt he looks up to you for help. As children they expect us to be wiser and know it all as we are elder and know the world. Accidents do happen and it is possible that you may not have the medicine at home and by the time it comes this instant natural remedies may help.

In the process of growing up at some point or other they will be stuck by a problem. This is an undeniable reality of life that kids are accident prone. Trying to find the best home remedies that are suitable for children is not always going to be hitting the bull’s eye the first time you try it. It is always trial and error to see what suits your kid if they are having a very sensitive skin then it may pose some problems. These home remedies may help your kids and relieve pain but every skin type is different and needs special care. Here is a list of top remedies for the common problems for children.

Splinters

Splinters is one of the most common problems that is faced by kids today. We as parents can only be careful and advise them to be cautious while playing around and to wear those shoes. But kids will be kids they always love to goof around. If you have a splinter that is needing to be removed applying a bit of wood glue to the skin and allowing to dry is a simple and pain free way to get started.  A home remedy that is less painful is always appreciated by kids; one has to understand that kids have very less threshold when it comes down to bearing pain. Let the glue actually dry up, you should be able to slowly lift the glue away from the skin, taking with it the splinter that has been causing problems.  This is much quicker, easier and nicer than to use a pair of tweezers.

Burns

Another very common household problem is burns, the causes could be many. You could get a severe sunburn, you know how summers and the sun can really get to you or touch something piping hot. I know my kiddo no matter how hard we tell her it is hot she has this urge to touch it to believe it. Here in India we celebrate diwali with great pomp and gaiety and this is the time when kids get burnt due to the crackers. There are so many ways to get burned and kids have a knack for finding them all.  Many ideal households always have a burnol or an antiseptic cream but a natural remedy such as an aloe vera is the ideal option.

An alternative to aloe vera if you are out having a picnic or barbeque is mustard though.  Both aloe and mustard are extremely effective in helping to eliminate the burning sensation that accompanies a burn and can make it much more comfortable to handle until it can be treated properly.  Even better, both of these remedies are safe to use even on the youngest children have no side effects what so ever.

Toothaches

Toothaches when we adults cannot bear them the kids cry out in vain when they have one. We all have hectic lifestyles, a career and juggling from work and home. When we are told of a problem the dentist may not be available. In many countries getting an appointment takes time. Which result in waiting time till the actual treatment starts,In order to relieve the pain your child is feeling you can take a small cotton ball and soak it in vanilla extract.  This would then be applied directly onto the sore area and allowed to remain for a while.  Once this is done, it will typically provide you with a substantial improvement and allow you to function for a while until the dentist is able to see your kid and provide relief.

Acne

Many younger kids have acne problems, one cannot forget but this can be the most painful if not treated well. Each person has a uniquely created balance that must be maintained in order to achieve the perfect skin that is needed. Some of the most common ingredients for acne home remedies include things such as cucumber, lemon juice, and also milk. Finding your perfect home remedy for acne is likely to be a prolonged process
