Forum signature marketing is perhaps the easiest way of obtaining one way links to your website. For a new person, this is the only free way of obtaining backlinks from high page rank websites. As long as forum members are contributing by posting valuable contents, you are producing more and more backlinks. What can be easier?

For some people, contributing constructive content is just asking for too much and they have chosen to stoop low to do anything to get that one way link.

Some people are crass and desperate enough to actually have done these things to get some backlinks to their site. Please note that this is not a recommended way to get backlinks so don't even try it. In fact, if you wanted to guarantee getting banned and quickly becoming a Kostanza of the forum world, then by all means, go for it.

Post in forums:

1. Look for high traffic forums and then look for threads which have a lot of pages. Then sneak your backlink in it. In a heavily trafficked posts, it may be overlooked or ignored by moderators.

2. Delibrately disable your site so it won't work properly. Then paste a link to your site and invite someone to offer suggestions as to how to correct it. Be sure to complain that a particular script doesn't work. People have gotten away with spamming links this way.

3. Start bashing the someone in the forum. People will blog about you and what you did. A downright immoral way to generate backlinks to your site. This is why people do not tolerate rude people in the forum.

4. Spamming inactive or old forums Nobody is there to remove or delete your link. People have gotten lots of backlinks from these low page rank forums.

5. Put your backlink URL in the full stop, commas, exclamation marks and so on. Best to use the full stop, small thus harder to spot.

6. Try creating a site with the domain name "something-famous-sucks".com then start bashing it left and right. "Hate" sites will be linked, always. But whether you get shut down or whether you will get sued is another thing. This is why hate messages are an automatic ban for most forums.

7. In addition to the above tip, try bashing Microsoft or George Bush or some internet public enemy. These targets, netizens will never get tired of hammering. And links from grateful fellow netizens will come. Okay, these two tips are more acting like an asshole than a sneak, but it works, right?

8. Start a web design company and start designing flash websites for newbies. Then place several links at the footer of their site to your site. Charge them a ton of money for spamming their site.

9. Goto those script demo sites. Usually these sites allow you to try out a particular script like a Content Management Script. And with this "demo", you can sneak in your backlink. You will be surprised to see that a lot of these demo's content are not even cleared for months, even years and they do get indexed by the search engines.
