A baby is a bundle of energy who is curious to investigate everything that catches the eye and try all sorts of physical activities. Toys for a baby should try to capture them at these levels. While selecting toys keep in mind the educational benefit it will impart to the child, other than entertainment aspect. Toys for baby at early stage are primarily aimed to stimulate senses like touch, sound & sight. Babies exhibit a great interest in biting, shaking, poking, opening- closing, and pushing/pulling objects. As such most baby toys make attractive noises and are brightly colored to draw the attention of a baby.
· A stackable ring is a toy that aims to improve hand eye co-ordination of a baby and teach the baby about size and colors. It is very simple inexpensive classic baby toy that develops problem solving ability of a baby.
· Toy aquarium is another interesting musical toy that entertains baby. This toy may be attached to the crib and a press of button by the child starts the light and sound.
· Rattles act as a rattling as well as a tethering toy. Simple, portable and colorful, babies love to chew upon this toy.
· An activity table is a perfect toy that teaches numbers, shapes, colors, alphabets, and sound to babes. There are many light and sound effects that charm the baby. As the child grows up he learns various features of this toy.
· Blocks are one of the best and common baby toys. Made of attractive colors and pictures, blocks help the baby to build and stack, thus developing hand eye co-ordination.
· Baby play gyms are excellent toys that help to develop sensory and motor skills of the baby.
· Bath time of a baby can be fun with bath toys.
· There are various types of push and pull toys, infant swings and pop-up toys to entertain your baby.
Before your child plays with the toys make sure it meets the safety standards and made of non-toxic materials. It should not have sharp edges and big enough that it cannot be swallowed.

Stackable rings are always so cute and fun. My little boy absolutely loves them, but he exhausts me. Haha.
