How To Make Him Miss You
68If you want to make you boyfriend or even ex miss you, first of all, do not try to make him jealous. This technique is very counterproductive. You may not only fail in achieving your goal, but even lose him forever.
The Power of Nostalgia
Instead, try to play on his nostalgia. I’m sure you have something which is common for you (and only you) both. We all remember events which gave us positive emotional experiences. When we recall these feelings and experiences, we feel some type of a sense of loss and we think about our relationship with the other person, be it a relative or a beloved one, only from the positive aspect (even if it’s not the best at the moment).
Moreover, be remember positive things better and we remember them for longer time. We do that because they are not everyday mundane things. They are exceptions – exceptions which we want to remember forever. And subconsciously we want to re-experience them (with the same person, to be sure). Our mood rises up from even a simple thought that it can be possible.
So, if you still have relationships – perhaps, you meet somewhere among your mutual friends or you’re still friends yourself – try to talk to him and unobtrusively add some remembrances to your talk (considering that the man does want to talk to you, if he doesn’t, you have no chances). While talking make him recall those positive experiences, I’ve talked above.
Here’s What You Should Do to Make Him Miss You
- Remember songs, television shows, events, food – anything you know he liked – and talk about or “suddenly” remember about this while talking. Ask him if he remembers and why. This will help him to re-experience those feelings and remember your relationship in a positive light. This will help you to rebuild the emotional bond with him. However, be careful and gentle. If you rush you can make things worse.
- Talk about extraordinary events and things that happened with you both in the past when you were a couple. Remember all those highly emotional moments (fun or not-so-fun, it doesn’t really matter). Your goal is to recall those moments, when you were close and supported together, in his mind.
- Do not tell “I” or “you”, try to tell “we” instead. He knows what “we” means and who “we” are. This will help you to destroy unnecessary barriers between you. But, again, but very natural, because if he suspects you’re not, he will instantly build a mental brick wall, that will be twice hard for you to remove.
- Never show any sign of regret about the times when you were together. And do not show him that you want him to come back to you. Just make him feel that everything that happened to you was the best time of your and his life. Do not tie yourself and your talking to the past. Just remember it, and show that it was excellent, but also show that you’re not going to be a prisoner of your remembrances. Assure him that you don’t want to bring a burden of your not always perfect past to the future. He has to be sure that you are able to start your relationship from the beginning.
These simple steps will not only help you to make him miss you but also bring him back to you, if you need.
