'Time Confusion'

How do you explain this feeling

Burning from within my soul?

A feeling that seems to grow

As if  'twere fed by coal

What can it be?

Anger or Frustration?

Love, Infatuation?

Exposed to the world

They read my every thought

Should I be aware of something I'm not?

Or is it nothing, but

Something in my head

That doesn't actually grow

As if it were fed

What could this mean?

Anger nor Frustration?

Not Love, Infatuation?

Can this be explained?

Or is something, nothing at all?

I've felt like this. Intense emotion, but what. Nice.

Thank you Randy and Gypsy. I have often felt a "something nothing" - I'm glad I'm not alone!

Thanks for reading and for commenting!

Nothing is something unless something is nothing. Isn’t that something?

I had one of those for months once. Almost drove me to the edge. Loved the poem.
