• Celine Dion used to sing with her family in the small piano bar they have in a small town in Quebec, which according to her is poverty stricken, but she has a nice and happy childhood experiences.
• Due to her determination, patience and golden voice, she became a sensation
• Her mother and her brother helped her to record her first single at the age of twelve and let the manage and soon to be husband Angelil to hear it, upon hearing it, Angelil was moved to tears and then mortgage his home to finance Celine Dion's first single which became a hit.
• In an interview wiht People's Magazine in 1994 Celine Dion said that --- "I missed my family and my home, but I don't regret having lost my adolescence. I had one dream: I wanted to be a singer."
