Songs I’m In Love With at the Moment
55
Ok, these are songs I constantly listen to on my MP3. Some are new, but being the nostalgic Cancer that I am a lot of them are ‘classics'. They're songs I grew up listening to on MTV way back when they actually played music videos.
1. Grey Street- Dave Matthews Band * The lyrics are just beautiful!
2. Twilight Serenade - Jason Myles
3. Curve of the Earth - Matt Nathanson * There's something about this guy's voice; I loved the song since I first heard it even though I wasn't playing close attention to the lyrics.
4. Follow Through - Gavin DeGraw * Finally a guy who isn't afraid of commitment :)
5. Piensa En Mi - Mikel Erentxun * This song instantly puts a smile on my face - such great memories!
6. Free Falling - John Mayer * I love to listen to this song after a yoga workout
7. You & I Both - Jason Mraz * Again, love the lyrics!
8. Don't Cry - Guns N' Roses * The grown-up version of a lullaby
9. Cherry Bomb - John Mellencamp *Total feel-good song...
10. What about now - Daughtry * It's a good thing VH-1 still plays videos
11. When the Stars Go Blue - Tim McGraw * He was the last person I thought would sing this song.
13.Cuentame al Oído - La Oreja de Van Gogh * Amaya has such a beautiful voice!
14. Jacob's Ladder - Huey Lewis & The News * Yes, it's very old, but I love it. I think it was their best song.
15. A million Miles Away - The Plimsouls * O.k. I first heard this song as a kid on the Disney series Kids, Incorporated. I had the hardest time finding it, but it's finally on my playlist.
16. Levemente - Reik * What a poetic guy would write after a break-up.
17. Viva La Vida - Coldplay
18. Warwick Avenue - Duffy * What can I say, the girl can sing.
19. Sleep All Day - Jason Mraz
20. Mi Perspectiva - Laura Pausini * This Italian singer has been around forever and I've yet to tire of her strong voice.
Well, this is my Top 20 at the moment. I'm sure in a couple of months I'll be reminiscing about the grunge era and MTV's Alternative Nation. The ‘Singles' soundtrack is a good place to start, then there's Nirvana's ‘Molly's Lips', Pearl Jam's ‘Alive', Material Issue's ‘Valerie Loves Me', R.E.M.'s ‘Stand'. Ok, I'm trailing off here, but you have to agree that life would be very boring without music.

Thanks! At work I'll go to lyrics.com and play 'Follow Through' 4 or 5 times in a row. I know it probably annoys my co-worker but he's 'guilty' of playing Jason Mraz's 'I'm Your's' all day long! LOL
And yeah, John Mayer got better with time. I really enjoyed his Continuum album; specially, 'In Repair' & 'Slow Dancing in a Burning Room'.
Here are a few I love at the current moment...you might want to check some of these out:
Guns N Roses - Sorry, Buckchery - Boy Named It, Jason Mraz - Curbside Prophet, My Chemical Romance - Teenagers, Killers - Dustland Fairytale
Thanks for the great recommendation. Buckcherry's Sorry is actually a very catchy tune. As far as My Chemical Romance & Killers, they're both great bands. And Mr. A-Z is just in a class all his own, I don't think I'd dislike anything he would sing. The last two 3Doors down singles I also like a lot - Not my time & Let me be myself.
hi, ileana. great top 20. posted it in my face book pro.
Hey Sukkran, thanks for dropping by.

Great list! I love that song by Gavin, too. I'm hooked on it as soon as it comes on the radio.
For some reason, I never got into John Mayer until just recently. I guess my taste is finally changing for the better lol.
