I decided, a solid bar for the same reason that buying a lot of people
do it for speakers and route the cables. I was ready to have examined
the quality of sound in my 20x20 two story spaces, after removing my
Yamaha receiver and 5 speaker / subwoofer, reduce and replace with
HTCT500 Sony. Having this system, every night for a week recently, I
must say that complies with HTCT500 Sony well and has exceeded my
expectations - to a point.
Run box was not impressive, but after adjusting the level of the
sub and do some other configuration settings to display the GUI menu,
Sony finally to life.
That, I came across a big problem with this device: Nice I have
a Mitsubishi 73 "big screen and HDMI output caused some logic questions
in Sony digital TV. Long story short, I had as the optical audio inputs
on the Sony arrange, because units of Sony HDMI is not compatible with
my Mitsu 734 HDMI standard. The Mitsu really gave me a blue screen
warning that show some influence This A / V devices are not compatible
and must be separated. I could not argue with Amazon returned and
therefore almost Sony.
I ended up temporarily as part of a 15 "Magnavox LCD TV from
Sony display the menu of the GUI to update my audio selection. It seems
so that I could not go. I'm obviously disappointed the fact that I can
not much fun does the GUI, but I can not blame Sony product.
incompatibilities, the question is about the product that the Sony
Mitsubishi. After some research, get to know Mitsu Problems TV
discussed with their DM Consulting, as on the web (see green) flashing
death.
Bottom line of Sony Soundbar this if you have a Mitsubishi TV,
you can avoid this product Sony and you go with ZVOX, Yamaha or any
other type of Soundbar. If you have another brand of LCD or plasma TV,
with audio outputs and an HDMI interface that Sony should be happy.
Cheers!
