Sony STR-DH500 5.1-Channel A/V Receiver

Installation is fairly simple. I had to replace a Okyno, cables are not
a problem. I have no BR DVD player, but had to use this entry received
optical audio port.
It was just my Logitech remote for the program, but TiVo did not at the library.
It is Nice to rename the inputs on the front display, it is logical that my equipment.
The surround sound is excellent, even with 2 input channels.
Overall, this receiver is a good value for money, but do not leave
at all. Many features that are expected of an A / V receiver blocks in
the device. For example - HDMI pass only through support, which means
they will pass the signal to your TV or projector, but if you need to
have your speakers 5.1 audio, audio receiver separately, in conjunction
to occur. The recipient will not drag the audio stream via HDMI,
although the wire transfers. Even if you are connected to analog
sources (composite or RCA) for the recipient, the recipient will not
exit, thanks to the HDMI output. You must run an analog output of your
receiver to your TV or projector to perform signal sources. I'm still
happy with this device, it simply is not like a clear solution, as I
expect from a home theater receiver, and many of the features I took
for granted when I looked at all entries proved to be false assumptions.
