68Tropical Holiday In South Africa
Hello there, TrudyVan here
Just come back for a marvellous breakaway holiday. I just had to share all the beautiful sights with you. We took our time travelling down to the sea. Stopping off to see the beautiful Waterfalls and museums in Howick and down to Durban to see the Rickshaw's on the beach front. (These men pull the rickshaws) Rickshaw Rides along the Beachfront is a fantastic way to see the city. They are dressed up in fantastic head-dresses, Colorful African beads and decorations. They are found on the beach front in Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
I spoke to one of them and he was very proud to have a photo taken with me. We laughed and chatted for at least a half an hour. The Kwazulu Natal women make the most fantastic colorful bead braclets and necklaces. Their ornaments and grass bags are just breathtaking.
We even got to see the new stadium for the 2010 football games that will be held here next year. It is a beautiful stadium right on the durban beach front.
We then went further up the south coast towards Hibberdene. You travel through beautiful green subtropical forests next to crystal blue seas. Enough to fill anyone's soul just breathing in the fresh air and taking in all the sounds of the different birds.
We ran across a troop of monkeys with their babies. What a sight. The babies clinging to the under bellies of their mothers and so very innocent.
We saw sea sand art all over. The women build the art work early in the mornings and the ask for donations. They are extremely creative and talented. Everyday there is new sea sand artworks to view.
There is always something to do or to see. You can even just sit and watch the sea. Think about life or just chill out. A great holiday destination. Kwazulu Natal South Africa is beautiful. I enjoyed myself and really come back home feeling refreshed and motivated.
You have all the sub tropical fruits in KwaZulu Natal. Bananas, mangos, pawpaws, avocadoes to name but a few. These grow wild by us along the roadside. The women pick the fruit and sell them at the roadside, thereby earning a living for their families
I stay in the province of Kwazulu Natal, in South Africa and I have still not seen everything there is to see.
