Southcourt Letting Package

 This is marketed as the Complete Southcourt Business Package and promises an income of £100,000 for a startup price of just £595. Now this struck me as one hell of a good idea so I thought I would do a bit more digging to see if it was possible.

The first thing I found out was that it is technically possible because there are letting agents that do earn this kind of dosh. So Far So Good eh. BUT, and it is a BIG BUT, the startup costs are not just £595. For a start the Southcourt Package I got my hands on didn’t have a proper website, and the guy who bought it had to spend another £400 + to get one. The Management software was just about OK to get started, but he had to upgrade it once he got some business in. The Southcourt website now shows stuff a bit better than what I got, but to be honest they are more 19^th century than 21^st century and if you are really serious you should do a search for Letting Agent Website Design and you should get some serious contenders. Prices I found started at about £300 and you could use any of them with the Southcourt info.

The second thing I found was that there are a bunch of other contenders that might be better. I found 2 main ones, www.letsdolettings.co.uk and www.letting4success.co.uk . If I were asked to do a ranking of all 3 I would probably come down with the following list.   

1. Lets Do Lettings
2. Southcourt Property Package
3. Letting 4 Success

The main reason for this order is because of the website options. Lets Do lettings seems to have a great bunch of  complete “live on the internet” websites, Southcourt Lettings do now have a live on the internet website package, but to be honest it is a bit pathetic by comparison and Letting 4 Success want to charge you extra which is why they are last.
