There are a lot of different things that have changed over the years. One thing that has changed is the workforce. If you are wondering why Spanish is an important thing in today's workforce and what the importance of bilingual communication here is some examples that might help you a little bit.
There are a variety of jobs out in the workforce where Spanish is needed. The second example where Spanish is used in today's workforce is if you work in a fast food restaurant or and industry that serves food. What happens if you get some customers that come in and want to eat but you cannot communicate to them when it comes to what they want to eat and drink? You will usually have to go find some one that is bilingual that can communicate with them and find out how what they can get for them. With out people being in the workforce today that can communicate bilingual there would be a lot more confusion.

The third example where Spanish is used in today's workforce is if a person speaks Spanish and has a problem with their bill. Say that they are trying to call into pay their bill but they have questions or concern. If they are not able to find some one that is bilingual they will be very confused and upset and not be able to express how they need help. Not only will they be upset but you will probably also be very confused and upset as well because you don't know how to help them.
The fourth example where Spanish is used in today's workforce is if a person comes into a dentist office to have work done on their teeth because they have a tooth ache. With out their being bilingual communication available the patient might not end up getting the care they need because no one will be able to know exactly what is wrong with the patient or what their symptoms are to help fix their tooth ache.
The fifth example where Spanish is used in today's workforce is if you work in sales. Say a person is trying to buy a new shirt or even a new car. Without their being some one that is able to communicate bilingual they will not be able to communicate with each other to help the customer get what they are looking for.
These are just some examples of where Spanish is used in today's workforce and the importance of bilingual communications. There are so many other examples that can be used to show the importance of bilingual communication. With out Spanish in today's workforce a lot of people would not be able to get the service that they want and deserve. You need to make sure that you do not overlook the importance of bilingual communication and do everything you can to make sure that you take having Spanish in today's workforce serious. Without Spanish in today's workforce a lot of things that might need to be treated may go unnoticed because people don't see that importance of bilingual communication.
