According to the Word of God, God’s entire creation is a system of sowing and reaping.

Gen. 8:22 “While the earth remainteth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.”

Luke 8:11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” In this parable (vs. 5-15), Jesus teaches that the Word of God is not just like seed, but is literal seed.

Jesus also talks about the different types of ground that the Word is sowed into, which I’ll deal with in another lesson.  Since God’s Word is seed, what are we supposed to do with it?

In the physical sense in our day in time, most of the population is not involved in farming. But in the spiritual sense, human beings have never been anything else BUT farmers!

At the human level, we believe HEARING the Word of God is equivalent to planting it. But biblically, this is not the case because one can be a hearer and still not be a doer of the Word.

Have you spoken God's Word outloud to your negative situations lately?

Some people refuse to speak God’s Word out loud this way because this offends their pride, sensibility and logic. Speaking the Word of God verbally for some is too mystical, ‘new age’ and makes no sense to the human mind.

But faith has absolutely nothing to do with human reasoning, one’s education level or common sense.

Think about this: What sense does it make for a single kernel of corn to yield a bushel at harvest time? Have we become too common and insensitive to the miracles of supernatural increase that God performs day in and day out?

Faith is having confidence in what you cannot see, and understanding that what you cannot see will eventually materialize in the natural realm.

God created what’s visible from the invisible! Everything that God started this world with was a seed: a word-seed. Then He created us into His own image and likeness. Everything that we have good or bad began with a word-seed.

Like it, agree with it or not – the devil sows words that oppose God’s Word, and you as a farmer will sow one seed or the other by the words you speak.

Once we take responsibility for our own lives and recognize the awsome accountablity we have to create our own destinies by the words we speak - good or bad, then through the wisdom and power of God we can live in the abundance that Jesus came to provide, and become more than conquerors the way God designed us to be!

This is faith-farming school! Dr. Creflo Dollar says “The bible is not a book of rules, but a bag of seeds.” Well, what else is a farmer supposed to do with a bag of seeds?

Know what you’re planting. Whatever it is that you lack, that’s the very thing that you must be willing to sow:

Luke 6:38 “Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together , and running over shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure you mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

The IT that Jesus is refering to here is whatever you need IT to be! We can ask people to pray for us, that's all well and good and has it's place. But we'll never experience the fullness of God's blessings until we sow our own seeds in faith the way God commands us to.

Doubt waits to see a thing before it believes. But faith believes for it first, then sees the thing that's hoped for! Every seed will produce what God said it would produce.

Once again, if you lack good health, finances, loving relationships, etc., then we need to find scriptures that relate to God's promises towards us in that regard, and speak those scriptures over and over again and do all the practical things necessary as well until we see what we say!

Since God said in His Word that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed (I Peter 2:24) if I'm in bad health then despite my current situation, I need to find out what's going on! Is this something I could have prevented and if so how? 

And because we know the body will heal itself if given the proper nutrition, I have an obligation to research all possible natural cures, and to learn what nutritional supplements I might need. In extreme cases I need to see a doctor, and I definitely need to eat right, exercise and get enough sleep in order to take care of myself.

And through the Word of God, I also have every right to visualize the good state of health I desire in my mind, to command all demonic influences in my body to flee, and to SPEAK the state of good health I desire into existence by saying something like this verbally outloud over and over again:

"In the name of Jesus, I claim the good health that God promised me because by the stripes of Jesus, I was already healed and I AM healed. Thank you Father in advance for Your many blessings! Amen."

Speak the good thing you want to take place according to the way God gives it to you. But if we keep speaking words of doubt, lack, poverty, sickness, etc., and if we refuse to seek alternative treatments that people are testifying to, what else can we really expect?

We expect God to do so many things for us that He told us to do for ourselves!

God spoke the world into existence, and created us in His image and likeness. What does that mean? It all starts with these lips and this tongue!

God tells us to open our mouths when it comes to our salvation: Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteiousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Now, can a disabled person who is unable to speak be saved? Of course! God knows the motives and intent of such a one's heart. It's the one who can speak but won't speak that we're talking about.

Through the Word of God, the process of salvation itself begins with the speaking of words. And the victorious life of the believer continues as he/she learns how to use their MOUTH to speak the Word of God to their situations!

When Jesus said, "Peace, be still" to the raging sea, it obeyed Him by calming down instantly. That demonstration of power was not for show, but to wake us up and make us aware of our authority as human beings in this earth! And I believe the testimony of a man who said he commanded an oncoming tidal wave to stand still long enough for him to rescue his family!

God didn’t tell the believer to climb up the rough side of the mountain, but He told us to speak to our mountains with a believing heart to remove them: Mark 11:22-23.

It's so simple to speak the Word of God to our negative situations, that it seems to mess with our minds! But God set the example for us to call those things that be not as though they were: Romans 4:17. If we don't do this, the negative situation is sure to grow.

Jesus said in Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing by any means shall hurt you."

For us to 'tread on' serpents and scorpions means for us to exercise absolute mastery over demonic forces the same way Jesus did with the power He gave us. This takes bravery, fortitude, discipline and most of all FAITH.

You also must properly discern and recognize when the devil is attacking you.   With everything I know in this regard, even as I wrote this I found that you can't let your spiritual guard down for one moment!

The devil might use a loved one, friend, child, boss - to distract you and disrupt your peace.  The devil wants you to respond to them as if they are the enemy. They are not the enemy.  The devil is the enemy who needs to be rebuked and banished from your presence, and you are the one who must do this with your spoken commands on the spot!

In order to properly execute the dominion He gave us (Gen. 1:28), God told us we become what we think about: Proverbs 23:7, and that the power of life and death is in our tongues: Proverbs 18:21. Our fate is in our heart (what we meditate on) and in our mouth.  This is why we must guard what we think about and say, and not let the devil take our mind to control our words.

What kind of sense does it make for a farmer to cry about not having a harvest at harvest time when the bag of seed sat in the barn all summer long? We must meditate on God's Word, guard our minds and speak God's Words according to His will if we are going to reap a Godly harvest in our lives.

By virtue of the fact that God gave man dominion and authority to rule this world, this earth-suit that we reside in is the most valuable commodity we have, Satan knows this and he preys on our ignorance and/or unbelief of this critical fact.

When it comes to speaking the Word of God to exercise God's dominion in this earth, It’s our own silly pride and arrogance that keeps our mouths SHUT. Meanwhile we keep complaining about our terrible situations only to reinforce them further with our own negative words. How silly is that?

In the midst of utter darkness, God (who didn't like the situation and wouldn't put up with it) said "Let there be light." And the next thing we read "and there was light." With God's sovereign permission and by His own divine command, we are authorized to plagiarize!

God gives us the seed (His Word) to turn the whole negative situation around by speaking our desired end into existence like He did!

But God won’t violate the autonomy (freedom of choice) He gave us by making us do anything! Just like you can lead a horse to the water but you can't make him drink, although He is able to God won't plant His words into our hearts. That's our job!

Please understand that this teaching is no magic hocus pocus voodoo trick or witchcraft of Satan, and God is not a cosmic bell hop or magic genie waiting to jump at our command.

The Most High God Our Father simply promises to bless those who trust Him, love Him, obey Him, and live for Him. God is looking for faith-walkers who will execute His will His way to overcome every adversity in this world through their faith in Him PERIOD.

God gave us the dominion and the power to command and set things straight in this wicked earth, but unless we're taught these things through the Word of God, we have no idea how to walk in faith to please Him.

How long will it take for God to show up and bring supernatural deliverance? I don’t know, but I believe it partially depends on us. The more we doubt, fear and worry the more we hinder our own crop, (that is if we don’t choke it out altogether). Let's remember that most of the things we worry about don't happen anyway!

When it comes to earthly crops, we've learned to be patient about waiting for plants to spring forth, so when it comes to planting Godly seed to gain Godly results, we must be patient and consistent with speaking God’s Word as well. If you plant it, nurture it and guard it – the law of the harvest demands that it must spring forth.

No matter how severe the physical condition, this writer is a living witness to the fact that once you get over feeling silly and uncomfortable about speaking the Word of God to your situation outloud; when you finally do it and keep doing it (along with all the practical instructions God gives), THINGS CHANGE for the better, and you KNOW it was God who did it!
