Extra long ties typically measure about 61-63 inches in length and a perfect fit if you are above 6 foot 3 inches. If you really want to be certain weather or not you will need such longer neckties, take your height in inches, and add your necksize in inches to it. If the number exceeds 91 inches you are better off with XL neckties of about 61-63 inches. If the number is larger than 93 inches (less than 1% of the US population) than look for XXL neckties that are over 63 inches in length.

Besides your height and your collar size, the tie knot you choose has influence on what necktie length you will need.
