Pathetic...I really thought that at the first damned stanza it was quite good...but a word at the second stanza made me realize otherwise - that Burt Bacharach is really nothing but a trying-hard wannabe. This damned...poem - is it? - did not so much as lay a finger into my dogma of a touching piece. I will never be ducking too low to even recoize such...such deranged shame touch me - never...remember that. Really, it doesn't really make any sense, my brains would...like burst with the redundant and idiotic rhyme sequence and that word tinged with black mouth really disturbs me, it doesn't fit! It works like a peg in a round hole...What is this, really? A Speech piece, or a Song, eh? No offense...err...Dexter, is it? And also to you, Burt Bacharach, just some constructive criticism, hope you don't hunt me and be one of those things that go bump in the night...
