The start menu of Windows XP, apart from being extremely large, it is also too slow in its deployment. If you want to accelerate the speed at which this menu is displayed, enter the Windows registry.

Once there you will get to the option MenuShowDelay. This follows the sequence: HKEY_CURRENT_USER * Control Panel * Desktop * MenuShowDelay, or look for it directly with the "look" of regedit. Once located double click on this option and change the default value is on (400) by a smaller value. Put the value 0 for maximum speed.

Then click the OK button and then reboot your computer for the changes to take effect and you can see the difference.

Release RAM

Having run one or multiple applications or games that make heavy use of system resources, we have found that Windows is somewhat slow.

This is because the remains of the applications used, block some of the RAM used, causing what is called memory fragmentation.

With a little script can free that memory, forcing the computer to download the contents of memory to the swap file so that recharge all the information again triggers the memory and discard the information is not useful, as follows:

Open the Windows Notepad and depending on the memory of our computer write the following:

If you have less than 128 Mb of RAM, you write mystring = (16000000)

If you have 128 MB of RAM or more write mystring = (80000000)

Now save this file in the place you want, with nombreliberar.vbe must put the. Vbe because the name does not matter you can put the you want.

Now we double click on the file you just created and Windows refresh the RAM
