The fastest way to speed up vista computer is to adjust the visual effects. Why is that so? Because you do not need it. The visual effects are there to make your computer visually attractive. However, the effects are also causing your vista to slow down. This is because the visual effects will use up some of the system memory and this could slow your vista performance.

So how do you speed up vista computer by adjusting the visual effects?

Easy, just follow the following steps:

1) Go to Control Panel

2) Click on Personalization

3) Click on the Adjust visual Effects in the task list

4) A Performance Options dialog box will pops up

5) Now you can select on Adjust  for best performance, Let Window choose..., or Adjust for best appearance. Select on 'Adjust for best performance'.
