Christmas is just around the corner and I'm thinking where to go this Christmas. Sometimes, my husband and I like spending Christmas away from home.

In 2007, my husband and I spent our Christmas vacation in Amsterdam. We stayed at Qbic Hotel located in World Trade Centre. It's a low cost hotel but good quality accommodation in a prime business location. I found it convenient to stay there because it's near the airport and you can go to the heart of Amsterdam by tram or taxi.

We both like visiting museums. When we were in Amsterdam we visited Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum and Rembrandt Museum. We also took a late night stroll in the heart of Amsterdam. They have some really nice house boats and nice looking canal houses!

I'd like to go back to Amsterdam one day... perhaps in summer.
