I first noticed Elizabeth Banks in Spiderman (2002) as she played Ms. Betty Brant, J. Jonah Jameson's secretary sympathetic to Peter Parker. From there, I began seeing her in many other movies that I like, namely Seabiscuit with Tobey Maguire, Catch Me If You Can with Leonardo DiCaprio, and The 40 Year Old Virgin with Steve Carrell.

She's a prolific actress guest starring in various TV shows including Sex and the City, Law & Order: SVU, Without a Trace, Scrubs, and even voiced a character in the animated show, American Dad.

From the way things have been going, Elizabeth Banks should be active in US cinema for years to come.
