The Canny Internet Entrepreneur

Most people who have looked at internet marketing as a serious option will know who Scotsman Graeme Stuart is. Google loves him and he can be found all over the web alongside his lovely wife Jess. They are living the dream, and more to the point, living their dream. Graeme and Jess met in India where they were both on a meditation course and soon found that although they came from different continents, their values and goals were certainly not worlds apart, and the rest is as they say, history.

Graeme is a Creative. He is an accomplished photographer, a successful business man and now a successful internet entrepreneur. His work is interesting, thoughtful and attractive. He is fun, smart, kind and deeply spiritual. He has a regular meditation discipline and and follows a program of personal and spiritual development called GMCKS Arthatic Yoga. This keeps him energised, balanced, focused and helps to break down limiting beliefs. His dream to be very wealthy is driven by a massive vision of making a difference to lots of people.

He is steadily building a strong team of internet entrepreneurs. Many internet marketing companies talk about team building but what they really mean is building a down-line. With Graeme, he really is building a team. He gives quality time and energy to his team members and their success is important to him

Whilst he loves working as a photographer and a filmmaker, he knew that photography did not have the potential to generate the kind of income that he needed to reach his goals, nor did it offer enough leverage.  He was not always free to create what he wanted because he was often working to commission.  He and Jess began looking around at other business ideas that would give them the freedom to live life in the fun lane.  Property investment appealed but they wanted to find something much more recession-proof.  Then, one day at a business opportunity seminar, they listened to an internet marketer and the penny dropped.  Well, that was the start of many pennies dropping,  straight into the bank!   It was perfect, he gets to use his creativity in conjunction with his enviable internet marketing skills and can transfer this package to any industry conceivable.  Internet marketing gave him the opportunity to leverage unlimited multiple income streams.

freedom

Ironically, internet marketing has provided him with more scope to explore and apply his creativity in diverse and unexpected ways than his photography business did.  For example, he loves to understand psychology and how he can speak to people through the clever use of keywords, images, social networking and media.  I hear we can expect to see some pretty funky films in the future, keep your eyes peeled!

I asked Graeme about what he thought the biggest challenges are to newbies.

He was really clear that the 'real' challenges are internal. His advice is to anyone who is struggling is to weed out negative and unhelpful thoughts and get rid of any 'can't do' attitudes. He encourages his team to stay positive and he leads by example. He keeps the light shining by having fun and demonstrating a good mental attitude. As a result, he tends to attract positive people to his team now.

He and Jess had both been playing around with mindset, energy and the law of attraction long before they met each other and long before The Secret was published. The result is that they attract things in a focused, fast and a direct way. For example, the curious learner of all things Twitter took about 1 month to establish himself as an Expert twitter teacher and host a live well-attended, very informative webinar! He says: “The bottom line is, you get what you focus on.”

So what are the secrets to his success in internet marketing?

Positive attitude

Determination

Flexibility (he quoted Bruce Lee here: “Be water, my friend”)

Be teachable
