Ashley Dupre is back in the news again! Dupre is the girl who was in the news a couple months ago for being the callgirl of former Governor Eliot Spitzer. Spitzer resigned due to the scandal and Dupre created a buzz all across the internet.

So what's Dupre back in the news for this time? She has now decided to drop her $10 million lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild and its founder Joe Francis. Her attorney said that she wishes to be able to put this all in the past and focus on exciting new projects for her future.

It seems a little fishy though because Dupre was quite heated in the past saying that Girls Gone Wild tricked her into signing consent to be in their videos. She also stated in the claim that the company took advantage of her to try to sell their product. Why the change of heart? Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis apparently has a tape showing that Dupre was very clear about the consent form she was signing and had no problem doing so.

Francis said that if the suit continued we would see the real truth of the life of Ashley Dupre. I think we've seen enough of that haven't we?

Francis has plenty of issues to deal with himself. In April he was indicted for tax evasion. The suit claims that Francis deducted more than $20 million in false business deductions in 2002 and 2003.

I'm glad we've heard the end of this particular lawsuit, but unfortunately I'm afraid we'll hear plenty more in the future about Ashley Dupre and Joe Francis.
