Professor Gary Lee Sport Karate Tales of the" Golden Age " of Sport Karate

Another of Gary Lee’s passionate dreams is coming into fruition. That is the construction and opening of The Sport Karate Living History Museum

Gary said” The museum will be the last event that I will work on ,I have collected the finest minds in the world as History Generals to help do the documentation and history analysis of our sport and when we are though it will be a fun, entertaining ,educational and informative site for the family or the hard level traditionalist.”
When asked to pick one out of his many stories and and his absolute favorite he was very quiet for a moment ,looked up at the camera and said “ I do have one that is always with me and it happen along time ago.”

Persons have come up to me at events though out the nation and asked how it all started , you know the idea of a Museum for Sport Karate and the pioneers who started it all in the early fifties, that would make Sport Karate sixty{60} years old !, lots of stories , lot's of pictures, lots of memories for the fans of sport Karate.

Well here is how it all started,

This story is dedicated to our friends who we have lost since we started this elite project of building The Sport Karate Living History Museum , Glen Qwan, Sid Campbell, Mako,

Ken Knudson , Don Nagle, Peter Urban , Howard Jackson, Tom Benich, Bob Burbridge, Al Weiss, George Anderson, Gen Rabago, Kennny Ubanks, Moses Powell, Chuck Loven , Robert Trias.
