Think you know NASCAR trivia? I’ve put together some sports trivia questions from the world of NASCAR that I think any racing fan would be interested in.

You may find some of these NASCAR trivia questions a little easier than some of the others, but I think you will find all of them to be challenging.

Scoring:

10 correct – You win the championship.

7-9 correct – You win the Daytona 500.

4-6 correct – You lead your first lap.

1-3 correct – You’re black flagged for having a car too ugly to have on the track.

0 correct – Your car won’t start.

1. Richard Petty. The race was in Atlanta in 1992.

2. David Pearson is second with 105 wins.

3. Darrell Waltrip leads all modern era drivers with 84 victories.

4. Richard Petty is tied with Dale Earnhardt with seven sprint cup championships, but Petty holds the record for runner-up finishes with six.

5. Herb Thomas won 48 of his 228 starts for a winning percentage of 21.05%.

6. The winner of the Daytona 500 is presented with the Harley J. Earl trophy which weighs 54.25 pounds.

7. Lee Petty won the 1959 Daytona 500 in a photo finish that was reviewed for three days. Johnny Beauchamp was originally declared the winner, but after the reviews, the call was reversed and Petty was awarded the win.

8. The 1964 Daytona 500.

9. Mario Andretti. Mario won the Daytona 500 in 1967, the Indianapolis 500 in 1969 and a Formula One championship in 1978.

10. A.J. Foyt. Foyt won the 1972 Daytona 500 in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1983 and 1985, the Indianapolis 500 in 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1967.
