  Cancun has over 150 hotels with appoximately 200,000 student spring breakers visiting each year. The average temperature is 79 degrees F or 26 degrees C making it one of the warmest locations in the Carribean.

• SOUTH BEACH SPRING BREAK
  Night life in South Beach is dynamic with over 150 nightclubs. It's not one of the cheapest location, however, it is only second to Cancun as the most favorite spring break destination.

• PANAMA CITY SPRING BREAK
  Over 500,000 college students each year visit the panhandle for spring break. It has over 27 miles of beautiful beaches of white and coffee colored sand.

• ACAPULCO SPRING BREAK
  Acapulco was one of the major spring break destinations many years ago and lost it's luster to Cancun. With more reasonable prices, Acapulco is making a big comeback as a major college spring break destination.

• SOUTH PADRE ISLAND SPRING BREAK
  Some people claim this is one of the best party places to go on Spring Break. I'm not sure about this as many others destination would challenge this statement. For a change of scenery, you are just a short distance to Mexico.

• DAYTONA BEACH SPRING BREAK
  Daytona Beach would be considered one of the longest standing destinations for spring breakers. Though your parents may have gone to Daytona, its not the same. It's easy to get to, reasonably priced for students and lots of fun.

• LAS VEGAS SPRING BREAK
  Not your typical beach spring break location, however it make up for it with it's wildness nightlife. You want the best deals for spring break, Las Vegas is one of the value places to go for students.

• JAMAICA SPRING BREAK
  We lumped the two Jamaica destinations of Negril and Montego Bay into one. Incredibly beautiful weather and even more so the sugar white beaches. If you are looking for parties, Negril is now labeled the party captital of Jamaica.

• MAZATLAN SPRING BREAK
  Mazatlan claims to be the number 1 destination for spring break, however this study disputes that and gives the title to Acapulco. With that said, I spent more spring break in Mazatlan that any other location combined.

• PUERTO VALLARTA SPRING BREAK
  It was a tough pick for number 10, but Puerto Vallarta just edged out the Bahamas. It's a growing spring break destination for college students and that is why it made the list.
